What is warranty extension?
Warranty extension is a program provided by Lex Services, Inc., in cooperation with authorized appliance/gadget dealers, whereby customers who buy an eligible appliance or gadget can purchase a warranty extension contract for the said appliance or gadget, which will extend its warranty for additional years. The coverage of the warranty extension is the same as the original manufacturer's warranty.

What are the different warranty extension plans?
LEX offers three (3) main products:

  1. Extended Warranty for Big Appliances and Gadgets –This is the standard one (1) to two (2)-year warranty extension available for airconditioners, washing machines, DVD players, home theaters, speakers and soundbars, LED and Smart TVs, refrigerators, microwave ovens, ovens, ranges, rangehoods, hobs, water dispensers, videoke machines, gaming consoles, earphones and headphones, mobile phones, and laptops.
  2. Small Appliances Replacement Plan –This plan provides a one (1)-time replacement of a small appliance, in case of electrical or mechanical failure due to manufacturer’s defect, within the one (1)-year LEX coverage period (which starts after the one (1)-year original manufacturer’s warranty).
  3. Gadget Guard –This is a warranty extension plan which also provides free one (1)-year accidental damage, including liquid damage, coverage during the original manufacturer’s warranty coverage period. You have the option to choose between a three (3)-month or one (1)-year extended warranty period.

Are LEX contracts available for all brands and products?
At present, only selected brands and products are covered by LEX. Please refer to your preferred store’s official LEX pricelist for more information

Where can I find a copy of my LEX Contract?
For stores making use of LEX e-contracts, you will receive your full LEX contract through your nominated e-mail address.

You may also download a copy of your contract by inputting your LEX Contract Number and Last Name at https://lexservices.ph/MyContract/. If you do not receive a text or e-mail confirmation, within one (1) Business Day from the date you purchased your LEX contract, or cannot get a copy via the LEX website, you may request for a copy of your contract by contacting LEX at:

  • The LEX Claims Team operates from Mondays to Fridays (excluding holidays), 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

What should I do if my appliance/gadget breaks down during the LEX coverage period?
  1. Call or message LEX at:

    4. The LEX Claims Team operates from Mondays to Friday's (excluding Holidays), 9:00AM to 6:00PM
  2. Make sure to keep a copy of your LEX contract and official receipt/sales invoice from the store you purchased your contract and/or appliance/gadget official receipt/sales invoice from.
  3. You will, then, be instructed by the LEX Claims Team about the service center where you can bring your unit to, or about arranging a home visit by the technician (for select appliances).

How much does a LEX contract cover?
The coverage of a LEX extended warranty is the same as the price you paid for the appliance or gadget at the store, subject to the Terms and Conditions at the back of your LEX contract.

Note that:
  • You will be responsible for settling any excess labor, parts, or services fees incurred during a claim go above the price you paid for the appliance or gadget at the store.
  • You will also be liable for settling transport, check-up, and other related fees which are not covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty
  • Free on-site repair shall only be available if it is covered/provided under the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Does LEX offer insurance?
LEX Services Inc. is company that provides extended warranty for appliances and gadgets. Its services do not extend to health, life, or any other form of insurance.

Is LEX a Lazada courier/logistics provider?
LEX Services Inc. is company that provides extended warranties, and is not associated with courier/ logistics/tracking services for Lazada.

However, if you purchased an appliance or gadget through a LEX-authorized Lazada dealer, we encourage you to have it covered by a LEX extended warranty. You may purchase a LEX contract for it at https://buy.lexservices.ph.
